Denis Chan is a Landscape Architect currently based in Sydney, Australia.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Design in Landscape Architecture from RMIT, Melbourne, Australia in 2004,
Denis has since been practising across Australia and overseas, with over 4 solid years of experience in
the industry.
Within the early years of his career, Denis has worked extensively throughout the country on a multitude
of school design projects – scale of these projects varied from small play areas
to complete landscape master plan.
Over the years, Denis undertook a wide range of international projects across China, India, New Zealand,
and Mauritius. The most recent international project includes Civic Square Design at Abu Dhabi
new F1 formula island, Dubai, UAE.
Denis Chan believes that design is an evolving product of the interaction and integration
amongst the site, the client and their visions, consultants, the environment, DCPs and new limitations such as Sec94.
As a freelance practice, Denis Chan Landscape Architect continues to pride itself on being the choice
for many of the key players in the public and private sectors.
Denis’ passion is to continue producing the most innovative design to create concepts which are not
just environmentally and culturally sustainable, but also addressing the client’s objectives
whilst maintaining its budget.
His work is best described as – practical, integrated and aesthetically sound.
